Ken Sody
founder and gaffer
Ken is a Belgian gaffer and the founder of Mercury, a brand dedicated to developing practical tools for lighting film sets. Drawing on years of hands-on experience working in the lighting crew, he designs and makes solutions addressing the challenges faced on set.
Frédérick Sody
engineer
Frédérick is the engineer behind the scenes at Mercury. With a strong technical background and a practical approach to problem-solving, he is responsible for translating ideas into functional tools.
Theo fernadez
power user and debugger
Theo Fernandez is a gaffer and a close collaborator in the development of Mercury’s gear. As a power user, he works with early prototypes on set, providing practical feedback and helping refine ideas through real-world testing. His hands-on experience and insight play a key role in shaping the tools we make, to ensure they meet the demands of professional film crews.
